In the past years, UFest has taken on many names that served as mirrors of our time. Sadya was a burst of joy—an invitation to come as we are, to simply celebrate with a renewed university spirit. Kadsipay or Kadaugan sa Kalipay spoke of triumph, of victories embraced not only in competition but in the fullness of community experience. Each branding of UFest has carried with it not only a name but a spirit—a heartbeat that echoed our collective identity.

This year, as SAMAHAN On The Move, we carry forward that legacy with a new call and rhythm: Duyog. In Cebuano, duyog means “to accompany,” “to go alongside,” or “to be in harmony with.” More than just a companion, it is a reminder that no voice ever stands alone, and no journey is ever truly solitary. To duyog is to recognize that we are shaped not just by victories or defeats, but by the people who stand with us through them all. It is the presence beside us—in friendship, in faith, in solidarity—that makes the step forward meaningful.

Paired with this is the theme: “Rhythm of One Ateneo.”Rhythms are not built on single notes—they are made in the interplay of many tones, each one distinct yet in sync. In the same way, Ateneo is a symphony of diverse talents, cultures, passions, and stories—different beats, but one heartbeat. This theme captures what UFest ultimately is: a time where on the field, on the stage, in the sidelines, and behind the scenes, we find one shared pulse that binds our community together.

Duyog: The Ateneo UFest 2025 becomes more than just a festival of games and performances. It becomes an expression of movement with meaning. Not about running faster or winning bigger, but about who we run with, why we keep the beat, and how we bring each other forward as one.
